Chuck Thornton's Legacy
For the past 36 years, Luthier Chuck Thornton has been designing and building some of the finest boutique guitars and basses available in a studio tucked in the mountains of western Maine. Chuck’s passion for working with wood began as a youth growing up in Maine, under the influence and guidance of his father.
The CP Thornton collection features the finest custom semi-hollowbody and solidbody guitars, as well as 4 and 5-string basses available in the market today.
CP Thornton Guitars are appointed with exceptional components and a variety of beautiful woods like torrified curly rock maple, Hawaiian rosewood, swamp ash, old-growth pine, Nookta cedar, Port Oxford cedar, Brazillian, and stylized with superior quality paints and finishes.
