so that if you turn one volume down it doesn't shut off the whole

CpThornton guitars are equipped with Lindy Fralin Humbucking
Pickups with Coil Taps. We wire them to a 5 way switch as
follows:
In the third and fourth position, the volume controls can be used to alter the tone of the guitar. For example, in the fourth position, if you turn down the neck volume to 8, you get a "Tele-like" tone. |

3 way switch and Coil Taps activated by Push-Pull Tone Pots. This setup allows every possible combination of tones, but is a little slower to use. |

| Acoustic Pickup (standard on Professional Acoustic) |
The Graph-tech Ghost Piezo-Electric Pickup is available. It works with either a Mono or a Stereo jack, using a "Quick Switch" that selects Acoustic, Electric or Blended output. |
