Refund of Deposit
Deposits are non-refundable
until after the guitar is completed.
We have had a small number
of customers who have asked for refunds of their deposits.
Please understand that when we take a deposit, we
immediately use that money to purchase the materials to
build the guitar. Ours is a very small company, and
there is no money in our cash flow for refund of the deposit
after the purchase of materials.
If you can't take the
finished guitar, then we will sell the guitar to the public.
When we are paid in full for the guitar, then we will refund
your money, less any expenses incurred in selling the guitar
and/or any difference in the final sale price of the guitar.
We will hold a finished
guitar for up to 3 months pending final payment for a charge
of $15 per month.
If You Need To Return
the Guitar
Because we sell the guitars direct over the internet, the
customer has not had the opportunity to inspect and play the instrument prior to
purchase. CpThornton Guitars gives the purchaser three days to play and
inspect the instrument.
If you are not satisfied with the guitar, please give
me a phone call before returning the guitar for a for a refund
of the purchase price, less shipping.
CpThornton Guitars reserves the right
to charge the customer for any reconditioning required (in other words, play it,
enjoy it, love it, but please don't scratch it).
